In 1985 we opened 'Le Bistrot Bourguignon', the first wine bar in the heart of the world famous Burgundy vineyards. With 24 years experience, we know all the 'Grandes Maisons' - the great wines and their winemakers.
In order to distribute our selection of fine Burgundy, we decided to create our own range and trademark name to show those wines we love - their styles, fruit & balance, their fine & supple tannins - all enhanced by a modern approach while respecting their distinguished spirit of tradition.
The name Alexandre de Rezelfeld represents the long history of our noble family which we wish to perpetuate into the future. Our family originating from Central Europe we thought it natural to revive this name and harness it to the mythical world of fine Burgundy.
